Exciting Fishing Trips in Ontario, Canada
Discover Walleye, Trout and Northern Pike Fishing in Canada
It's easy to enjoy your fishing trips with us in Ontario Canada because Lake Wenasaga is an easy lake to fish.
With 34 miles of shoreline, a five-mile river that leads north to a picturesque waterfall and the fact that it is a spawning lake, Lake Wenasaga has abundant numbers of walleye and northern pike. The fishery starts with a 30-foot waterfall at the north end of the river and ends with fast water rapids at the south end of the lake. These water rapids allow large numbers of fish to come up into Lake Wenasaga from Lac Seul for spawning, yet are steep enough to prevent boats from accessing our lake from below. The large waterfall at the north end of river also helps keep Wenasaga secluded since boats are unable to travel down the falls from the lake above.
There isn't any need for guides on Lake Wenasaga. We'll just hand you a map with all the great fishing spots, set you up with a quality boat and motor, and you will be on your way.
Enjoy Remote Fishing Trips for a Day
For anglers who would like the opportunity to be even more remote and the only boat fishing on a lake, we invite you to try a day on our boats that we keep stored on numerous remote lakes. You can easily drive to these outer lakes and enjoy the experience of being surrounded by untouched Canadian wilderness. In addition to walleye and northern pike fishing, these remote outlakes also offer the opportunity to catch plenty of lake trout.
High Quality Boats, Motors and Gear
We do our best to provide you with a great vacation experience and that starts with good equipment. When you arrive for your Canadian fishing adventure we will present you with a clean 16-foot Lund boat that has a 15 HP Yamaha outboard motor, swivel seats, paddles, anchor, landing net and bait bucket. We also provide you with free boat gas and minnows for the week as part of our package deal. In fact, you'll have everything needed to get out on Lake Wenasaga immediately, except for lifejackets. The law in Ontario requires them and we are not able to provide them for you. So please bring your own lifejackets. And remember, pack all the tackle and fishing gear you want to catch lots of walleye, northern pike and lake trout.
