Relax in Modernized Log Cottages

The log cabin cottages at our lodge in Ontario give you a great sense of what authentic Canadian fishing trips should be about. Each of our waterfront cottages has a fully equipped kitchen, three-piece modern bathroom and a large screened-in porch with spectacular views of Lake Wenasaga. Cooking utensils, pots and pans, bed linens, and towels are all provided with a towel change twice a week. Each cottage also has its own outdoor picnic table and charcoal grill to help create those memorable evenings of barbecuing and dining outdoors. An inclusive fishing package is always part of each cottage rental. This includes the unlimited use of a 16-foot Lund boat and all the gas and minnows you need to help make your fishing trip in Ontario as relaxed and carefree as it should be. Call us to reserve a cottage early and please note, cottage assignment will depend on availability and the size of your party. Wenasaga Lodge is open from May 21, 2011 through the end of September.

Spacious Waterfront Cottages

Cottages 7, 8, and 9 are authentic log cabin cottages on a grand scale. The cottages come fully equipped for all your household needs and are very spacious, making them more convenient for larger groups.

Cottage 7 has two bedrooms and easily sleeps up to seven people comfortably. Each bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed, plus there's an additional single bed if needed. The cottage's main room and screened-in porch have plenty of room to hang out, relax or play games after a day on the lake.

Cottages 8 and 9 are even larger and sleep up to nine people. Each cottage has two bedrooms off the main living area with a double and single bed in each room. The upstairs loft in each cottage has another double bed and two single beds. These spacious log cabin cottages offer plenty of storage and the living space needed for larger groups of people.

The Original Waterfront Cottages

Cottages 1 through 6 are the original two-bedroom cottages from the lodge's early days and have all been renovated with modern conveniences. Each cottage sleeps four to five people comfortably. The kitchens are fully outfitted with microwaves, refrigerators and stoves to help keep your household needs simple and easy. A large, modern, three-piece bathroom, a screened-in porch, and generous storage area in the back of the cottage give you plenty of space. Each cottage also has a ceiling fan as well as a wood burning stove to keep your warm on those occasionally chilly nights.

Cottage 10 was originally a house and has plenty of living space. An eat-in kitchen and large living room leads off to the bathroom and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed and set of bunk beds. There is also a futon in the living room, which allows the cabin to sleep up to nine people. Cottage 10 is set back from the lake and has a large screened-in porch that was recently built on to the front of the cottage. We'll have pictures of the new addition put up on the site in the spring so you'll be able to see what a great space it is to relax in after a day of hunting or fishing.
